
Vice President of Global Technology
Dave Turcotte is Vice President of Global Technology at Valvoline Global Operations, Lexington, KY. Dr. Turcotte is responsible for the development of products and services for OEM applications. A chemist by training, he has worked with heat transfer fluids, automotive coolants, lubricants, and chemicals over 30 years. Dr. Turcotte works to identify and meet the changing needs from emerging technologies like computer cooling, battery electric vehicles, charging systems, fuel cells to create products and services that will help further these applications.
Dr. Turcotte holds 39 patents, published twenty technical papers and is a frequent panelist and speaker at global industry forums He is a member of ASHRAE TG 9.9, ASTM, having served as a board member and vice chairman of committee D15, member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and past Detroit Chapter Chairman.
Of note, Dr Turcotte has received the Valvoline V award, Ashland Chairman’s Award, Ashland Star Performer Award, SAE Excellence in Oral Presentation Award, SAE Excellence in Environmental Transportation Award and the Popular Mechanics Editor’s Choice Award. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Brown University, Providence, RI and resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
